When you play CosmicDrift.io we store an anonymous session ID, your chosen player name, game scores, orbs collected, kills, and stardust earned. If you create an account, we also store your email address. We never collect or store your payment card details ourselves — see "Payments" below.
Everyone earns stardust just by playing. Creating a free account is required to spend it — to unlock skins or decals with stardust, or to buy a stardust pack with real money — so your purchases are verified and saved server-side, tied to your account, not just to one browser or device.
Skins and decals are unlocked with stardust only, never bought directly with cash. The only real-money purchase is a stardust pack, processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card number, expiration date, or CVC — Stripe handles that directly and only tells us that a payment succeeded. Stripe may retain transaction records as required for payment processing, fraud prevention, and legal/tax compliance; see Stripe's own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy for details.
Your data is used to display leaderboards, save your stardust balance and purchases across devices, and improve the game. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We use Google Analytics to understand how players interact with the game (session length, stages reached, features used). Analytics events are tied to a Google-assigned identifier for your browser, not your real-world identity — we don't use this data to identify you personally.
On the direct web version we work with Google Ad Manager to serve ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). On the CrazyGames version, ads are instead served by CrazyGames' own platform.
Game data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. Anonymous sessions contain no personally identifiable information.
